Annapurna Base Camp 12 Days
Annapurna trekking region is claimed as one of the best trekking areas in the world. It spreads around five districts (Kaski, Myagdi, Mustang, Manag, and Lamjung). Beginning at an altitude of 790m. the area reaches as high as 8091m Mt. Annapurna with the lake at the highest altitude in the world known as Tilicho Taal (4919m). This region is rich for its biodiversity starting with subtropical climate to Alpine and Trans-Himalayan (rain shadowy) part of Nepal. It inhabits 102 different kinds of mammals including rare snow-leopard, and blue sheep; 478 species of birds including endangered species Himalayan Monal and Blood pheasant; 39 species of reptiles; and 22 species of amphibians are recorded to the date.
Annapurna trek begins with Brahmins hymns, reaches the top for Buddhist chants and descends down with fusion of Hindu-Buddhist colourful culture of Thakali, Gurung and Magar ethnic group.

Annapurna Base Camp- 10 Trekking Days

Day 01. At 7:15am – drive to Nayapul Trek to Ulleri (1960m)
-Driving takes 2hrs to Nayapul. Then we walk on the path alongside Bhurungdi River for about one hour. Then,we will walk hrough three main villages including Birethanti. And 1.30 hour of up-hill walk from TirkheDhunga to Ulleri. We get a glimpse of Mt. Annapurna (South) from Ulleri, and beautiful terraced field, and traditional villages.
Day 02. Trek to Ghorepani (2750m)
-We head uphill, after breakfast through Village, for Ghorepani. The path walks along side Streams and forests. We will have lunch at Nangethanti with beautiful view of the forest-hill surrounding after 3hour walk. From Lunch point to Ghorepani takes 1.30 hrs walk. We stop at upper Ghorepani for panoramic view of the Himalayan Range.
Day 03: Trek to Tadapani (2690m):
-The day walk is mixture of nature, view and walking competence. You will find yourself face to face Annapurna South and Mt. Hiunchuli and Mt. Fishtail. You feel the energy of the Giant Mountains as you walk closer to them.
Day.04 Trek to Chhomrong (2210m):
-You have a very close view of the Annapurna Range from this village. Walk down to Kimrung Khola (river) through forest and Gurung ethnic village. And then Hike up to Chhomrong with Southern terraced field and green Hill views. We stop for Lunch at a view point. Then walk up-hill through village to Chhomrong facing Hinuchuli and Mt. Fishtail up close. We can take a walk up and down the Gurung village; if we still have some strength remained in us for the day.
Day 05. Trek to Himalaya (2840m).
Salutation to Mt. Fishtail before breakfast and walk down Bamboo and then Climb up to Himalaya.
Day 06 Trek to Fishtail Base Camp (3170m):
-It is 3 hours slow walk along the Modi-Khola. We have a Chance of sighting Himalayan pheasants, Himalayan Goats and other mountains species of birds and mammals. Stay overnight at MBC
Or continue to ABC, which depends on the pace and the health of the trekkers and their wish.
Day 07 1:30hrs walk up Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) for sunrise and then walk down to MBC for the rest. 360 degree mountain views from base camp.
Day 08. Trek back to Sinwa
Day 09 Trek to Jhinu (1.30hrs) and Rest day by Natural Hot spring.
Day 10. Walk down to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara
Note: Flying to Pokhara save one day. Please inform me if you wish to come to Kathmandu after finishing the trek without a day in Pokhara. There is always an alternative route to what I have just outlined. And the route can be changed during the trek with consultation with guide. We are open to your choices and wishes.
